I build this platform to start expanding my services and reach more customers. Little did I know my bro Phrase and I would start an exclusive DAYONES ROOTED online store. We're both born and raised in Shiprock, New Mexico. Dayones! We both went to Shiprock High, but I graduated from Rocinante High in Farmington, NM. Studied business at SIPI in Abq., then onto Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. I met my wife at Fort Lewis.

Then I joined the Shiprock Fire Department. My dad was a long time member of the department. I enrolled in the fire science program at San Juan College and completed a 16-week fire academy. I served 5 years with Shiprock Fire before I took a firefighter position with Farmington Fire Dept. and had a great career there for 8 years. I left that position to run my small businesses full-time.

I also run a dj, sound, and lighting business called Galaxy DJs. We operated within the four corners areas. My older brother Dan Jr. also does events with the company, ranging from big weddings to birthday parties. We even had a photobooth for our guest. Both businesses had shut down due to the Navajo Nation restrictions from Covid, but I am hopeful that one day we can throw a huge party again. For now, we just keep ourselves entertained in our household. I have 2 daughters, ages 7 & 11. They keep me active and on my toes. Being a dad is awesome and hard work.
